HVAC Installation Project

GE Gas Furnace and Air Conditioner Installation in Oklahoma City

TradeStrong recently completed a full HVAC system replacement for a property in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The existing indoor and outdoor equipment was removed and replaced with a new matched GE gas furnace, evaporator coil, and outdoor air-conditioning condenser.

Our technicians completed the installation, reconnected the required electrical, refrigerant, drainage, control, and venting components, and thoroughly tested the new system before placing it into service.

Equipment Installed

This Oklahoma City HVAC replacement included:

  • New GE gas furnace
  • New matched evaporator coil
  • New outdoor air-conditioning condenser
  • New electrical disconnect and equipment whip as needed
  • Reconnection of the existing refrigerant lines
  • Reconnection of the condensate drain
  • Reconnection of low-voltage controls and high-voltage power
  • Proper reconnection and securing of the furnace flue pipe

Installation and Refrigerant Testing

After installing the equipment, our technicians pressure-tested the refrigeration circuit and pulled a vacuum below 500 microns. This process helps confirm that the circuit is clean, dry, and free from detectable leaks before the system's refrigerant is released.

The system was then started and tested in both heating and cooling modes.

  • Heating and cooling operation
  • Supply and return temperature difference
  • Airflow
  • Refrigerant pressures
  • Electrical operation
  • Condensate drainage
  • Thermostat and low-voltage controls
  • Overall system performance

The new GE HVAC system was operating properly when our technicians completed the installation.
